Why oh why do so many drivers take to the road without thinking twice. Why aren’t more drivers careful about how they manage their vehicles. How we all wish driving was automated, what that would do to the mortality rates on the road. These are actual lives here. These are real people; these are real individual stories, with families, with siblings; these just aren’t statistics. The gravity of it is that statistics can be ran across the heap of folks that literally die due to carelessness. It’s easy to take for granted, I suppose. Getting into your car’s like slipping on a pair of winter boots, for some. And for some, it really does feel like an extension of self, like a some sort of robotic suit.
